May Top 10 trending phones of week 18
Xiaomi has announced a worldwide version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro (originally launched under the name Redmi Note 9 Pro Max) and the phone was so captivating that it instantly topped our weekly trending list.
The iPhone SE (2020) and MI10 Youth put their places in the top 3 but we expect it to be replaced by the global Xiaomi MI10 Lite Zoom once it becomes official. Then we have the Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G – a leader last week, but it’s still getting your attention.
Two more Xiaomi phones are following – the Redmi Note 9S and its predecessor the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Last year’s model was extremely popular so there are big shoes to fill newcomers.
Once a company fills half of the top ten spots, Samsung now has only one smartphone – the Galaxy A51. It is owned by Redmi Note 8 and LG Velvet. The second is still an unpublished smartphone that should be official in May and launch in South Korea on May 15th.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has completed the top ten, but how it lost 8 positions in two weeks is likely to come out.
